Ingredients
- 500 ml fresh apple juice (see cocktail recipe)
- The juice of a lime
- 60 ml ice cider
- 60 ml sugar (to taste)
- 15 ml fresh mint, finely chopped
- Zest of a lime
Preparation
- Boil the apple juice and sugar for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add lime juice, mint, ice cider and lime zest.
- Pour liquid into a shallow metal container. Cool in refrigerator. Transfer to freezer. When set, scrape with fork. Repeat once or twice.
- Serve in small scoops in small glasses.
Tips and tricks
Remove the zest from the lime before peeling it raw, and place the lime directly into the juicer with the apples.
