Apple and smoked duck

Ingredients

  • 1 Empire apple
  • 80 g (about 2 3/4 oz.) sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 12 pieces
  • 12 slices smoked duck
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) olive oil
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) cider vinegar
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) honey

 

Preparation

  1. Cut the apple into twelve wedges.
  2. Place a piece of cheese on each apple wedge. On 12 toothpicks, prick slices of smoked duck, making them wavy. Place the toothpicks on the cheese and apple pieces.
  3. In a bowl, combine olive oil, cider vinegar and honey.
  4. Drizzle each bite with fragrant oil.
