Apple and cranberry energy balls

30 energy balls
Preparation:
15 minutes

Ingredients

1 Honeycrisp or Cortland apple
125 ml (½ cup) dried cranberries
375 ml (1 ½ cups) quick-cooking rolled oats
125 ml (½ cup) almond butter
60 ml (¼ cup) pumpkin seeds
60 ml (¼ cup) honey
5 ml (1 teaspoon) cinnamon
1 ml (¼ tsp.) nutmeg

Preparation

  1. Grate the apple and place in a paper towel or clean cloth. Form a small bundle, then press over the sink to release the water.
  2. Place all ingredients in food processor bowl. Mix well.
  3. Using your hands, form 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of the mixture into balls.

Energy Balls can be stored in the refrigerator for about 3 days. They can also be frozen in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
