Ingredients
- 4 red apples
- 170 g (about 1/3 lb) 70% chocolate, chopped
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) butter
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) maple sugar chips
- 30 g (3 1/2 oz) white chocolate, chopped
Preparation
- Wash apples. Remove stalk and stem.
- Insert a wooden stick into each apple.
- In a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate with the butter. Coat apples in chocolate and dip immediately in maple sugar chips.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Melt the white chocolate in the microwave. Using a fork, form filaments on the chocolate apples.
- Leave to set in the fridge for 30 minutes.
