Tuna and apple tartlets

Portions:
6 (12 tarts)

Ingredients

1 170 g can tuna, drained

1 container (150 g) Philadelphia-type garlic and herb cream cheese

1 Québec red apple, julienned

12 tart shells

125 ml (½ cup) grated cheddar cheese

Optional :

1 celery stalk, diced

 

Preparation

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

In a bowl, combine the tuna with the cream cheese, apple and, if desired, celery. Season with salt and pepper.

Top tartlets with tuna mixture.

Place tarts on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.

Cover the tarts with grated cheddar and bake for a further 10 to 15 minutes.

 

 

Tips and tricks

Lamb's lettuce and frisée with artichokes

In a salad bowl, mix 60 ml cup) olive oil with 30 ml (2 tablespoons) lemon juice, 15 ml (1 tablespoon) Italian seasoning and 15 ml (1 tablespoon) old-fashioned mustard.
(1 tablespoon) Italian seasoning and 15 ml (1 tablespoon) whole-grain mustard. Add 1 can artichoke
artichoke bottoms, drained and sliced, 500 ml (2 cups) lamb's lettuce and ½ green leaf lettuce, sliced. Stir to combine.
