What varieties of Quebec apples are available right now?
From Paulared to Ambrosia, including McIntosh, Honeycrisp, and Cortland, Quebec’s apple varieties gradually ripen as the season progresses.
To help you know when your favorite apples will be available, we've put together a calendar showing the availability of the main varieties grown in Quebec.
Starting in late August, the first apples—such as Paulared and Sunrise—begin to appear. Then, throughout September and into mid-October, several other varieties become available, including Ginger Gold, Lobo, McIntosh, Gala, Honeycrisp, Spartan, Cortland, Empire, Red Delicious, and Ambrosia.
