Ingredients
- 2 Quebec apples (Cortland variety), peeled, cored and quartered
- 45 ml butter
- 1 vanilla pod
- 250 ml maple syrup
Preparation
- Melt butter, add apples and sauté until golden brown. Remove apples.
- Add the maple syrup and vanilla and cook until the texture is smooth.
- Return the apples and serve with the pancakes.
